Families may register with LIFT-UP to receive Holiday Meals and Angel Tree gifts for children, Monday, Oct. 26 through Friday, Nov. 13 at locations in Parachute, Rifle, New Castle, Glenwood Springs and Carbondale. Registration will be for Thanksgiving and Christmas meal assistance, and Angel Tree gifts for children. People may only register their own family. Those wishing to donate non-perishable holiday food items may bring them to any LIFT-UP office. Together, we can make sure everyone in our community has enough food for the holidays! Tickets for the Frontier Historical Society’s Tenth Annual Ghost Walk fundraiser are still available for Friday, Oct. 30 at 9:15 and for most tours on Saturday, Oct. 31. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased in person at the Frontier Historical Museum at 10th and Colorado or by calling (970) 945-4448 and reserving the tickets with a Visa or MasterCard. Museum hours are Monday and Thursday – Saturday from 1-4 p.m. For more information, call 945-4448.
