The reservoir at Eleven Mile State Park opened for boating on Tuesday, April 19. According to park officials, the reservoir is full for the first time since 2002, and boat ramps at Witcher’s Cove and the North Shore are open. Some ice is likely to remain on the lake, so boaters will need to exercise caution. Employees will work to mark known hazards in the coming weeks. Boy Scouts count down to launchFirst- through sixth-grade boys and their families are invited to a Boy Scout rocket event at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23 at the Glenwood Springs Middle School baseball field.
