Road work on the east and west side of the 8th St. Bridge in Glenwood Springs will delay traffic from Oct. 21-23.

Crews will be milling asphalt, preparing road base and paving the road, according to the City of Glenwood Springs.

During the day, traffic will flagged in both directions; the road will be fully open in the evenings. Any questions about the project can be directed to Adam Racette with SGM Engineering at (970) 319-2093.

The Aspen Community Foundation recently awarded YouthZone $20,000 for the 2010-11 school year. According to Debbie Wilde, executive director, the grant will be used to provide school based intervention and prevention programs from Aspen to Parachute.
