Glen Oak Counseling Practice is offering an intensive support group to redefine life directions following life-altering events. Group members must be willing to commit to a six-month contract. Schedule a free registration appointment with Kristen Main, MA, LPC, at 945-8805 before Monday.

The Carbondale Chamber is creating a promotional piece featuring outdoor opportunities in the Carbondale area, highlighting the work of local photographers and writers. Each photo and description of outdoor activities that appears will receive full credit.

Call Julie at 963-1890 if you are interested in contributing photos or descriptions. The brochure must be ready for production by Wednesday, June 15.

This summer the Glenwood Springs Community Center introduces a strength training program for adolescents ages 12-17. This program will emphasize proper use of weight and cardiovascular equipment, specifically for the developing teen. Creating individualized programs, circuit and drill training, and fitness safety will also be included.

This program is offered from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, in two different sessions: June 6-29 and July 6 to Aug. 1. Contact the Glenwood Springs Community Center at 384-6301 to register or for more information.
