A Fire Dancing Workshop at the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts is scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday. The class is safe for all ages, and materials for learning are provided. Call 945-2414 to reserve a space.

The 2005 Taste of Carbondale and Western Barn Dance will be held from 5:30-10:30 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at the CRMS Barn. Also featured are a silent auction and the Carbondale Man and Woman of the Year Awards. Tickets may be purchased at Sounds Easy Video or the Chamber office, 963-1890.

Check out the new, brighter, bigger Defiance Thrift Store at its grand opening at 11 a.m. Saturday. The new location is 2518 South Glen Ave. Refreshments will be served and the store will offer giveaways.
