“Did we get it right?” That’s the question planners will be asking the community at a “vision verification” opinion polling session on updating the town of Carbondale’s comprehensive plan.

The session is set for 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, at Carbondale Town Hall, 511 Colorado Ave.

At a workshop held March 23, residents expressed their vision for Carbondale as a first step in updating the comprehensive plan.

At the April 6 vision verification session, planners with RPI Consulting of Durango will share the draft vision statements prepared using the March 23 input.

Those who attend the April 6 session will get to use keypad polling for instant and anonymous electronic feedback.

Those who didn’t attend the March 23 vision workshop can fill out a vision questionnaire on the “Community Governance” page on the town of Carbondale website: http://www.carbondalegov.org/

For more information about the comprehensive plan update and keypad polling, contact Gabe Preston at RPI Consulting, (970) 382-9886.
