Felony Criminal Mischief: Sometime on May 10 or 11, an unknown suspect or suspects slashed the tires of seven vehicles in the Battlement Mesa area, causing $1,700 in damage.

The vandals slashed the tires of four private vehicles, two Colorado State Patrol vehicles, and a Garfield County Sheriff’s Office vehicle.

Garfield County Crime Stoppers and the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office are searching for information that will lead to the arrest or indictment of a suspect or suspects involved in this case.

The second place winners in the contest were the Word Sloths sponsored by the Glenwood Springs Kiwanis Club. The Bank of Colorado team finished in third place.
