“Rush to the Rockies,” a traveling collection of newspapers, travel guides, and art books from the 19th century is showing at the National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum in Leadville. The show continues through August.

Silt Heyday will be Saturday, Aug. 6, at Veterans’ Memorial Park in Silt. This year’s theme is, “Silt says: ‘Hey! Hey! Hey! Titans!'” Grand Marshals will be the Coal Ridge High School administrators, teachers and students.

To reserve booth space or march in the parade, call 876-5801 or pick up a form at Silt’s Town Hall.

The fourth annual Dreamtime Festival will be held near Paonia July 14-18.

Activities include live music, dancing, educational workshops, theatre, and more. For more information, call toll-free 877-842-9264.
