Thunder River Theatre Company announces auditions for “The Cherry Orchard” by Anton Chekhov in a wonderful new and fresh translation by Paul Schmidt. Auditions will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13. If you have been cast in a previous TRTC production or have auditioned for TRTC before, you do not need to prepare a monologue, just be informed about “The Cherry Orchard.” If you have never auditioned for us before, please prepare two short contrasting monologues – no more than two minutes each.
TRTC needs men in their mid-20s to 60s, and women from 17 to 40s. The production dates are Feb. 24 and 25 and March 2-4 and 8-10. Rehearsals will begin in early January. If you are not available for this production, but wish to be considered for future productions, please audition for us at this time. TRTC is always looking for new people who enjoy working back stage, as well. All theatre artists who work on TRTC productions are paid honorariums.
The theatre is located in downtown Carbondale. Call 970-963-8200, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for your audition slot.
