CARBONDALE, Colorado – Petitions to nominate candidates for the April 3 municipal election can be picked up starting today at Carbondale Town Hall, according to Town Clerk Cathy Derby.

The seats currently held by trustees Ed Cortez, Pam Zentmyer and John Hoffmann are up for re-election. The seats are elected at-large, and terms are for four years.

According to Derby, nominating petitions must contain 25 signatures of valid Carbondale voters. Petitions are due to Town Hall, 511 Colorado Ave., by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 2.
