DENVER – In observance of Memorial Day, many state offices will be closed on Monday, May 28, according to a statement from the office of Gov. John Hickenlooper.
Among those to be closed will be state driver’s license facilities, health department vital records offices, the Colorado Parks and Wildlife service centers, and administrative offices for executive branch departments, the statement announced.
State parks will be open and staffed, but administrative offices and visitors centers will be closed.
State troopers will be on duty that day, as will the Colorado Department of Transportation maintenance crews.
GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado – The Colorado Department of Transportation will host a public open house and presentation from 5-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, at the Glenwood Springs Community Center, 100 Wulfsohn Road, to present the results of the second level of alternatives screening conducted for the Grand Avenue Bridge Environmental Assessment.
People can view exhibits from 5-7:30 p.m., and a formal presentation will start at 6 p.m. on the screening process and the alternatives that will remain on the table for be further evaluation. Representatives from CDOT and the project team will be on hand to answer questions.
