The public is invited to A Colorado Peach Party on Sunday at Sustainable Settings Ranch outside Carbondale. Guest chefs David Gibson, of the Cooking School of Aspen, and Mark Fischer, of Restaurant six89, in Carbondale, will preside over the main courses. Chef and grower demonstrations will be featured, as well as tastings of fresh peaches and peach concoctions. Ripe Paonia and Palisades peaches by the case will be available for purchase.Acoustic Mayhem will provide live music.Please call 963-6107 to reserve your seat at the table. Seating is limited.

A silent auction of warehouse furniture, items and gift certificates from businesses located in Glenwood, New Castle, Silt and Rifle will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 3330 S. Glen Ave. in Glenwood Springs. The event is a benefit for JoJo Smith, a Vietnam veteran battling brain and lung cancer. For more information, call 876-2374.

Saturday marks the last evening of Carbondale’s Summer of Music, which features The Drew Emmitt Band, formerly of Leftover Salmon. Acoustic Mayhem will be opening for the Drew Emmitt Band at 5:30 p.m. at the Fourth Street Plaza in Carbondale.
