A water-line break in New Castle effected homes in Castle Valley Ranch and Lakota Ranch subdivisions Tuesday.

The break, which is connected to a tank that supplies the subdivisions, has been isolated. The town has imposed outside watering restrictions on residents in the impacted areas until 6 p.m. Thursday.

“Penny for Your Thoughts” is a live televised panel discussion about Rifle’s proposed 1-cent sales tax initiative. The discussion is at 7 tonight at Rifle City Hall. Beginning at 7, you can ask the panel questions by calling 625-6237. Info: Aleks, 625-2151.
