Spend some time after school at the Carbondale Recreation and Community Center playing volleyball, basketball, floor hockey and soccer. Every time Teens Quadrathlon meets, you will play a different sport.

This program, which is geared toward children 12 to 16 years old, runs Wednesday evenings from 6-7 p.m., Oct. 27 to Nov. 17.

Glenwood Springs High School is hosting a mini clinic for young cheerleaders this afternoon. Participants will perform with the high school team during halftime of tonight’s Glenwood football game.

Registration is scheduled for 3:45-4 p.m., with the mini clinic running from 4-6 p.m. The cost is $20 per person or $25 if you want a Glenwood Springs cheer T-shirt.
