Glenwood Springs Golf Club will again host the annual Turkey Day 5K on Nov. 25. Registration for the Thanksgiving-morning race begins at 9 a.m. The race itself starts at 10 a.m.
Pre-registration at Independence Run and Hike in Carbondale is highly encouraged. The $5 race fee benefits local non-profits.

Glenwood Soccer Club will hold tryouts for the spring season on the following dates and times:
• Monday, Nov. 8, 5:30-7 p.m., U12-U14 boys/girls and 6-8 p.m. for high school boys.
• Tuesday, Nov. 9, 5:30-7 p.m., makeups for U12-U18 boys/girls.
