Thursday, Jan. 13, is Soccer Night at Moe’s Southwest Grill in Glenwood Springs.
Glenwood Springs Soccer Club board members will be on hand to take player registrations for the spring season and for the February indoor clinic scheduled for middle-schoolers.
Spring registration is due by Jan. 15 for U10-U18 players.

Sunlight Mountain Resort is hosting The Joslin Classic, a challenging Telemark Classic format race down Joslin, at 9 a.m. on Jan. 22.

The Endurance Classic, a 12-hour event that involves hiking up and then skiing/snowboarding/running down the hill, is coming to Sunlight Mountain Resort on Feb. 13.

The Pedal Power Snowshoe Adventure Series is making a Jan. 15 stop at the Tennessee Pass Nordic Center for both a 5K and 10K competition.
This third event in the series is dubbed the Colorado State Snowshoe Championships and will kick off at 10 a.m. The 10K race will determine the state champions in both women’s and men’s categories.
Racers will meet at the Tennessee Pass Nordic Center at Ski Cooper, which is located between Interstate 70 and Leadville.
Registration is $20 and participants can pre-register with forms from Pedal Power Bicycle Shop in Eagle-Vail or by calling (970) 845-0931.
Registration forms can be downloaded online at pedalpowerbike.com. Participants can also register on the day of the event for $25.
This race is a regional qualifying race for the 11th annual U.S. National Championships at Lakewood Resort in Cable, Wisc.
