The Glenwood Springs Parks and Recreation adult hockey league wrapped up its season last weekend.
The league champions were Down Valley Trash (A league), Team Shocker (B league), Team America (B/C league) and Glenwood Canyon Brewpub (C league).
The Glenwood Springs Golf Club men’s club will tee its season off on Tuesday, April 5. For more information, call the course clubhouse at 945-7086 or show up on Tuesday.
Glenwood Springs Parks and Recreation Department is taking registrations for its spring co-ed and men’s softball leagues.

Batter up! Carbondale Recreation is accepting registrations for adult softball for both its co-ed and men’s leagues.
The registration deadline is Friday, May 13.
All fees are due at the time of sign-up, which is handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
No spots will be held without full payment and no partial payments will be accepted. The cost for the Monday night co-ed league is $540 and the Tuesday night men’s league is $650.
Games begin in June.

The first annual Mountain to Valley 10-Miler and F.A.S.T. 4-Miler is coming to Glenwood Springs on Saturday, June 4.
The 10-mile race starts at 7:30 a.m. The four-mile race begins at 7:45 a.m. A half-mile fun run will also take place for children and families. Awards and a raffle are also among the day’s festivities.
The inspiration behind this race is a local boy who was diagnosed with a rare neuro-genetic disorder called Angelman Syndrome. All of the proceeds will be donated to organizations that are making a difference in this child’s life, and the lives of others like him. The benefiting organizations are Mountain Valley Developmental Services and The Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST).

The 10-mile race costs $30 until April 15, $35 from April 16-June 2. Race-day registration is $40.
The registration fee for the four-mile race is $15 until April 15, $20 from April 16-June 2 or $25 on race day.
