The Titan Trot 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday. The race, a fundraiser for the Coal Ridge High School booster club, is the second race of the Colorado River Valley Race Series.

Registration is now open for the 12th annual Mother’s Day Mile. The race is Sunday at 1 p.m.
Glenwood Medical Associates is sponsoring the event, which is a fundraiser for the Advocate Safehouse Project.
Pre-registrants will receive an eco-friendly, reusable bag with race goodies.
All participants receive a finish-line rose, homemade apple pie and a chance to win age-group awards from the Sisterhood Exchange Program in Kenya. A gift basket silent auction will be held under the big tent.

The Roaring Fork High School World Travelers Club is hosting a tailgate party at the school’s Saturday home baseball doubleheader against Aspen. The cost is $5 for students and $8 for adults. The games are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
Need extra money? Volleyball officials are needed to work local middle school and high school matches in the fall. Training will be provided.

Coal Ridge High School is hosting a kids volleyball camp June 27-29 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. each day at Coal Ridge High School.
The camp is for boys and girls 7 to 12 years old (at the time of the camp). The cost is $20 per day or $50 for all three days if registered before June 21. After June 21, the cost is $25 per day or $60 for all three days.
All participants will receive a camp T-shirt and lunch (sponsored by Subway in Glenwood Springs).

Register now for summer volleyball camp. High school girls are invited to sharpen their skills with University of California at Bakersfield coaches Aaron and Jolene Shepardson at a June 13-15 camp at Grand Valley High School in Parachute.
