The tournament, which will feature both co-ed and men’s teams, will be held in Carbondale June 4-5. The fee is $300 per team and the registration deadline is May 31.

The fourth annual 5K Walk/Run For Their Lives benefit race returns to Silt on June 4.
The race, which begins at 8:30 a.m., is a fundraiser the for Pauline S. Schneegas Wildlife Foundation.
The foundation rehabilitates and releases injured or orphaned wildlife, with more than 5,000 animals cared for since 1984.
The event course runs through Silt, starting and finishing at the Stoney Ridge ball field. From the Silt roundabout, turn off on Main Street and head west. Make a right on Seventh Street and travel four blocks to the field, which is on the right.
Pre-register for $20 by calling Sandy at 987-3593. Race-day registration is $25.
Join the Driskill family in honoring the memories of Paul Driskill, while at the same time celebrating the miracle of his life, with a memorial 5K race on June 11.
An earlier planned half marathon had to be canceled, and the event will now include just a 5K and Kids Fun Run.
The race will begin and end at Glenwood Springs Elementary School on Saturday June 11, at 8 a.m. The cost is $10. Participants in the Kids Fun Run (10 years old and younger) race for free.
The qualities that made Paul Driskill a hero to local runners for more than two decades are still creating new admirers. Many who did not know Paul or who never had the opportunity to see him compete are inspired by his enduring example of courage, feisty determination and charisma.
Money collected will go toward the establishment of a memorial for Paul in the Glenwood Springs area.
