The Glenwood Springs High School girls soccer teams are “playing it forward” next Friday as they present a youth soccer skills clinic at GSHS on April 30, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the school’s practice field.

Clinic participants will be challenged in a learning atmosphere with technique and tactical training suitable for girls and boys, ages 7 to 14. Players of all skill levels are invited and they should arrive to the clinic ready to play and with their water bottles.

Preregistration will be held the week of the clinic at the GSHS home games on April 27 and April 29. The fee is $15 per participant prior to April 30 and $20 per participant at the clinic.



This fundraiser benefits the Glenwood Springs High School girls soccer teams.

Glenwood Springs Soccer Club is hosting two soccer clinics in May.



On May 2, from 3-6 p.m., Arsenal Youth Soccer will offer a clinic for kids 9 to 16 years old. The entry fee is $35.

On May 16, the club will offer a players clinic from 1-4 p.m. ($30) for kids 7 to 14 years old and a coaching clinic from 4:30-6 p.m. ($20).

The clinics will be held at Glenwood Park soccer field and registration is available on the soccer website (www.glenwoodsoccer.org) or by calling the club office at 945-6091.

The 12th annual Glenwood Springs Invitational soccer tournament will be held at Gates Soccer Complex May 29-30.

Registration is underway for boys and girls teams in the U10-U14 age brackets. Register by April 30.
