Local sports schedule sees changes

As Glenwood Springs and its surrounding areas continue to thaw out from a snow-heavy winter, the local sports schedule is taking its licks.

Today’s girls soccer game between Steamboat Springs and Glenwood Springs high schools has been moved from Glenwood to Steamboat. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.

Also, Tuesday’s girls soccer game between Rifle and Glenwood will now be played in Rifle. The start time for that one is 4 p.m.

Today’s girls tennis match between Glenwood Springs and host Cedaredge has been postponed to March 25.

Today’s lacrosse showdown between Glenwood and host Battle Mountain is on as scheduled. The Demons and Huskies will play at 11 a.m. at Battle Mountain.
