133 closure set Friday in Gunnison County
Both lanes of Highway 133 will be closed for rockfall mitigation between mile marker 24 and 25.5 near Somerset for several hours beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.
The closure is expected to last until 4 p.m. while crews perform trim blasting operations and scaling. CR 12, which provides access to Crested Butte over Kebler Pass, will be accessible only from the south side of the work zone.
Two additional five-hour blasting closures are scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, and Monday, June 29.
