17-year-old man rescued from Colorado River in Grand Junction

Grand Junction Fire Department assisted with a rescue of a 17 year old male who was fishing off a concrete slab on the Colorado River near 29 Road in Grand Junction. He became stranded, but received no injuries.

With the recent rains, the river will continue to rise. Remember to use a life preserver when enjoying the river.
