191 Sopris Avenue among items on Carbondale trustee agenda tonight
Tuesday is a big night for the Carbondale Board of Trustees.
The board is scheduled to adopt the Parks and Recreation Master Plan and the Carbondale Water Conservation Plan, consider approving a fifth and final recreational marijuana dispensary, and take a look at the final plat for the Thompson Park subdivision.
Perhaps most controversial of all, they will revisit plans for 191 Sopris Ave., which would replace the current home on the northeast corner of Sopris and Second with a two-story fourplex.
The project was approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission in December but neighbors are appealing the move. In a meeting last month, with one member absent, the trustees voted 3-3, in effect denying the application. The developer has made some modifications to the design since then.
The meeting begins at 6:10 p.m. with the public hearing on 191 Sopris slated for 7:50. A full agenda and packet for the meeting is available online at http://www.carbondalegov.org.
