A meal for everyone

The Eagles Club of Glenwood Springs continued its tradition of serving free Thanksgiving meals yesterday. The event’s chairwoman, Dawn Otto-Hayes, pauses between serving and greeting to pose for a photo with volunteer Tyler Hergert and a portrait of Danny Gonzales, the founder of the event. “It fills my heart with joy,” Otto-Hayes said of the day. Hergert added, “It helps people that aren’t able to get out and have Thanksgiving dinner.”
