GLENWOOD SPRINGS — Don Quick, a Democrat running for the job of Colorado’s Attorney General, will be at the Bluebird Cafe in Glenwood Springs today from 8:30-9:30 a.m.

Quick, a former district attorney in Adams and Broomfield counties, is a Colorado native and was at one time the top deputy to former Attorney General Ken Salazar.

He is the sole Democrat in the race to replace Republican John Suthers, who will leave office due to term limits. According to published reports, at least three Republicans have been named as possible candidates — Cynthia Coffman, the number two in Suthers’ office; Colorado House Minority Leader Mark Waller of Colorado Springs, and Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck.

The Bluebird Cafe is located at 730 Grand Ave.
