Area community health fairs taking place this week
Community health fairs continue this month from Carbondale to Rifle, offering discounted blood screening and numerous other free health screens.
In Rifle, the 9Health Fair comes to Grand River Hospital and Medical Center, 501 Airport Road, from 7–11 a.m. Saturday, April 13.
Those who plan to attend can preregister online at http://www.9healthfair.org.
Screenings range from $25 to $50, including blood chemistry, prostate specific antigen, diabetes screening, colon cancer screening, testosterone screening, and more.
In addition, the Valley View Hospital health fairs continue this week and later this month, with two remaining events.
The Carbondale blood draw and health fair runs from 7–10 a.m. Saturday at Roaring Fork High School, 2270 Highway 133, Carbondale.
And, the Glenwood Springs blood draw and health fair wraps up the VVH series, 7–10 a.m. April 27 at Glenwood Springs High School, 1521 Grand Ave.
