Aspen Mountain and Snowmass open today for the 2015-16 ski season, a full five days ahead of their scheduled start dates. After opening runs at the top of the Silver Queen Gondola for a preview weekend last Saturday, Aspen Mountain will now have top-to-bottom skiing, and 350 acres will open for skiing and riding on Snowmass this weekend.

We went to Facebook and asked some Aspen/Snowmass residents what they are most looking forward to about the weekend and the season. Share your photos and comments with us this weekend by using the hashtag #aspenonthehill.
