Biz Resource Center gets support

GLENWOOD SPRINGS — The Roaring Fork Business Resource Center, a Glenwood Springs-based nonprofit geared toward assisting business development, announced on Thursday it has a new “founding sponsor” — KREX NewsChannel5 in Grand Junction.

The arrangement with the station, according to a statement from the RFBRC, means that KREX “will help to promote the activities of the center … to strengthen the business communities from Parachute to Aspen.”

KREX, according to the announcement, has served Grand Junction and western Colorado since 1953.

The RFBRC was established in 2009 by founder and CEO Randi Lowenthal, a former director of the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce.
