Cdale fire seeks committee members

Carbondale & Rural Fire Protection District is looking for up to seven residents to serve on the steering committee for the district’s ongoing Master Plan Study.

Members must be residents of the district, but no other qualifications are needed, such as a firefighting or emergency medical services background. Candidates should be available to attend up to five meetings from March through July. Members should be familiar with their neighborhoods, geographic areas or community interests, but will speak as individuals during the process and need not represent any specific group or organization.

Any interested candidate should write a letter of interest and include any information that person deems relevant. The deadline for letters to be submitted is March 4. Letters can be emailed to leach@carbondalefire.org or mailed to 300 Meadowood Drive.
