Christmastime Services

The Congregational Church of the Valley, U.C.C., will hold a Christmas Eve Service from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, at the Silt Community Center, corner of Grand and Fifth Street in Silt, including a Christmas message and carol sing. Everyone is welcome.

First Presbyterian Church, 1016 Cooper Ave., Glenwood Springs, will hold its Christmas Eve candlelight services at 7 and 8:30 p.m. Info: Pastor Doug Darnold, 945-6340, 1stpc@everwave.net.

New Hope Church invites you to its annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Family Service at 6 p.m. Dec. 24 at Coal Ridge High School, and will include the New Hope Praise Team and choir, a children’s message and your favorite Christmas Carols.

The public is cordially invited to the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 24, at Mountain View Church. The service will include beautiful Christmas music and a meditation from the Scriptures on the theme “The Wonder of Christmas.”



Mountain View Church is located 1.5 miles south of Glenwood Springs just off Highway 82, next door to Beau Jo’s at Buffalo Valley. Child care is provided for infants through 24 months old.

Pioneer Faith Community Church will host a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. featuring special music and communion. A time of fellowship will follow.

Weekend Dec. 27-28, New Year’s-themed services. Saturday Nite Church, 6:30 p.m. Dec. 27; 9 a.m. only Sunday, Dec. 28.

Christmas Eve Holy Eucharist at 8 p.m.; Christmas Day Holy Eucharist at 10 a.m.
