CMC’s Spring Valley Road cleanup slated for September 30

Colorado Mountain College students, faculty and staff are joining with residents of the Elk Springs subdivision for a cleanup on the CMC Road (County Road 114) on Sept. 30. The public is also invited to help out.

Three groups of volunteers will clean up three miles of the road, which leads from Colorado 82 to CMC Spring Valley. Water and snacks will be available along the route, and a complimentary lunch will be provided. After lunch, volunteers will clean up the road around campus.

The cleanup will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 30. All participants should meet at 10 a.m. at the Calaway Academic Center parking lot at CMC Spring Valley, 3000 CR 114.

For more information and to sign up, contact James Madej, campus coordinator of student activities, at 947-8223 or jdmadej@coloradomtn.edu.
