Cooking demo at the New Castle market

It’s the fourth week of the New Castle Community Market, 4:30-7:30 p.m. in Burning Mountain Park, and Live Well will be performing a cooking demo in the park for anyone who is interested.

We expect the demo to be very informative and fun. Music this week will be provided by John Noel and Jeff Sauer.

Among the vendors is Lucky Dog, which makes a really great Chicago Dog or other combination to ease your appetite. The ladies from the Friends of the Library are here every week with a variety of books to purchase. It is for a good cause, so come on in and get your summer reading materials. Colby Farms has a great selection of local honey for you to enjoy.

If you missed out on the wine sampling event last week and still want to contribute to the 2017 Annual Back-to-School Supply Drive, you can. Call the River Center at 970-984-4333 to make a donation.

We want to take the opportunity to remind everyone that we participate in the SNAP program and Double UP Food Bucks.
