Bayou Lawsuit: A story in Friday’s Post Independent about a wrongful death lawsuit against the Bayou Restaurant and Bar and bartender Denisse Arreola incorrectly referred to Arreola’s plea to a misdemeanor charge of providing alcohol to a minor. Arreola pleaded no contest to the charge on Sept. 12 and was fined $500 plus court costs. The story also suggested she was a former bartender at the Bayou. She still works there. The Post Independent regrets the errors.
