Democratic bus tour rolls through Glenwood Friday

Democratic candidates for state offices and supporters bring their election lead-up bus tour through Glenwood Springs Friday for a meet-and-greet on health care issues, starting at 3 p.m. at the Hotel Colorado.

Expected to attend are Gubernatorial nominee Jared Polis and lieutenant governor nominee Dianne Primavera, Attorney General nominee Phil Weiser, Secretary of State nominee Jena Griswold, CU Regent At-Large nominee Lesley Smith, and current U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet.

The Colorado Democratic Party on Tuesday kicked off its “Colorado For All” Bus Tour in Denver, with 50 stops planned across the state for rallies and issues-focused events.

Other Western Slope stops are to include Silverthorne, Eagle, Grand Junction, Montrose, Ridgeway, Durango, Pagosa Springs, Alamosa, Walsenburg, and Pueblo.
