Downtown Glenwood street closures planned

Several downtown street closures are planned in the coming days as Glenwood Springs road crews will be doing utility and storm sewer improvements.

The following road closures will be in place:

• The Ninth and Pitkin intersection will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.

• The intersection at Seventh and Cooper will be closed through 7 p.m. on Friday, and will then be open for the weekend. From Monday, July 10 through Aug. 13, that same intersection will be alternating one-way traffic with flaggers from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
