Farewell for Schnitzer Friday evening at Glenwood Library

A farewell party for Sue Schnitzer, the outgoing Glenwood Springs library branch manager, will take place at 5 p.m. Friday after the library closes.

Schnitzer has accepted a position in Tennessee as manager of the Cordova branch of the Memphis Public Library and Information Center. Her last day at the Glenwood library will be Friday.

The public is invited to stop by and say goodbye. Anyone who plays ukulele or has some other portable instrument is encouraged to bring it along for an impromptu “library jam.”
