Fruita homicide information released by coroner
According to the Mesa County Coroner’s Office, it has completed its examination of Joshua Chasteen, a 27-year-old resident of Fruita who was shot and killed on Pabor Way Saturday, April 25.
“The cause of death is gunshot wound of chest and the manner of death is homicide,” a news release said. “The law enforcement agency overseeing this investigation is the Fruita Police Department. Please contact them for any further details regarding this case.”
