Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park extends hours for holidays

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is offering extended holiday hours. The park will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily from Friday, Dec. 20, through Monday, Jan. 6, except for Christmas Day.

The park’s year-round attractions — the Iron Mountain Tramway, cave tours, the Alpine Coaster, a 4D Motion Theater and a Laser Tag arena — will be open.

The best value for spending a day at the park is the $37 Winter Funday Pass, which provides guests with a round-trip ride on the Iron Mountain Tramway and a guided tour of Glenwood Caverns and Historic Fairy Caves, plus unlimited turns on the Alpine Coaster, the 4D Motion Theater and the Laser Tag Arena. Guests may also choose individually priced options.

The Lookout Grille’s winter menu includes burgers, hot sandwiches and hot dogs served with baked beans or kettle chips, salad, nachos, soup and chili. Kids can choose mac and cheese, chicken tenders, a burger or a cheese quesadilla. They can also cozy up to the fireplace with a cup of gourmet hot chocolate topped off with s’mores, peanut butter or peppermint, or a warm apple cider flavored with caramel or cinnamon candy.

The Grille has a well-stocked Bloody Mary bar for adults, plus winter drinks that include hot toddies, spiked cider, coffees, hot chocolate blends and hot buttered rum.

More information about the park is available at or by calling 800-530-1635 or 970-945-4228, ext. 0.
