Editor’s note: The Glenwood Springs Police Department reports the following incidents and arrests. Summonses or arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.

Warrant arrest: At 2:38 p.m. on Sept. 7, police contacted a woman during the investigation of a traffic accident in the 100 block of W. Sixth Street. Jade Star Pettit, 25, of Denver, was found to have a warrant out of Gilpin County and was lodged at the county jail,

DUI: At 1:50 a.m. on Sept. 8, police observed vehicle that was speeding and weaving in the 1600 block of Grand Avenue.. The driver, Jennifer LeeAnn York, 28, of Glenwood Springs, showed signs of intoxication and was subsequently arrested for weaving, suspicion of DUI and DUI Per Se. She was later released on a summons. DUI charges were subsequently dismissed against her and she pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired.
