Graff Dairy to reopen after year-long hiatus

After closing Aug. 31, 2014, a local favorite ice cream stand plans to reopen with new owners, according to its Facebook page. Graff Dairy, located at 581 29 Road in Grand Junction, has new owners.

The stand originally sold ice-cream type treats like shakes, malts and sundaes.

“[The new owners] are making a lot of changes to the building only,” the Facebook post stated. “The Graff Dairy famous ice [cream] will remain the same.”

The post received more that 1,400 likes, 1,110 shares and hundreds of comments.

When driving by the store, construction is making headway with dozens of contractors and workers on site.
