Hwy. 82 crash sends several to hospital

GLENWOOD SPRINGS — Two vehicles crashed on Highway 82 on Sunday night, at the intersection with the CMC Road (County Road 114), sending several people to Valley View Hospital in ambulances, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

The crash occurred at 8:34 p.m., according to CSP Sgt. Dave Evridge, who said a 1996 Pontiac ran into a 2013 Ford Expedition, although the circumstances leading to the crash were not available on Monday because the troopers who covered the incident were off duty.

Everidge said the identities of those involved were not available, nor was any other information about the accident.
