St. Barnabas Episcopal Church cordially invites you to a service of Blessing for Animals at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, on the front lawn of St. Barnabas, 546 Hyland Park Drive in Glenwood Springs.

Celebrated in conjunction with the recent Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, this brief service recognizes all of creation is intended for blessing.

Pioneer Faith Community Church of the Nazarene will be celebrating the Centennial Anniversary of the Church of the Nazarene from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5.

Service starts with a celebration meal, fun and fellowship at the parsonage at 68 Gamba Drive. Two bounce houses will be provided for the kids to enjoy. Everyone welcome.

The Church at Carbondale is offering Wellspring Sustainable Health Seminars at 9 and 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5; and at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, Oct. 6-8.

Dr. Art Mathias, of Wellspring Ministries of Anchorage, Alaska, will combine his personal experiences, biblical insight and findings from medical and psychological research to teach how to detect and gain freedom from unhealthy conditions. No charge; an offering will be received each evening.
