Focus on the Family’s first-ever national marriage simulcast event will be hosted by Crown Peak Baptist Church at 9 a.m. Feb. 28. The Focus on Marriage conference is expected to reach as many as 50,000 couples and will offer strengthening tools and compelling insights for marriages at all stages.

The conference, broadcast from Focus on the Family headquarters in Colorado Springs, will feature speakers Beth Moore, Dr. Gary Smalley, Gary Thomas, John Trent and Del Tackett along with popular Christian musician Jeremy Camp. Speakers will discuss marriage as it relates to Christ and the Church, the Trinity, and everyday changes to strengthen the relationship between a husband and wife.

Crown Peak is located at 101 W. Battlement Parkway in Parachute. Conference fees include a catered lunch.

Glenwood Mennonite Church is hosting a weekly prayer vigil for Peace and Justice from 6-6:30 p.m. Wednesdays from Feb. 25 to April 8 to pray for peace in our own hearts, our families, our community, our nation and our world. All are welcome.
