The Carbondale Community United Methodist Church celebrates 115 years with its Harvest Home Homecoming Festival Sunday, Oct. 28.

Regular services are held at 10:30 a.m., led by pastor Wally Finley. Children’s Church and hand bell choir is also at 10:30 a.m., led by Rosemary Clark.

After the morning services, a free soup and sandwich lunch will be available at 11:45 a.m., and musical entertainment from 12:45-1:30 p.m.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1630 Grand Ave. (next to Sayre Park), offers contemporary services at 7 p.m. Saturdays.

St. Vincent’s is hosting it’s sixth annual Christmas Bazzar from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, and is looking for vendors who wish to showcase their holiday wares. The entry fee must be reserved before Nov. 8.

Stephen’s Catholic School is hosting a spaghetti dinner and gourmet dessert auction fundraiser from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Take out orders are also available.

New Creation Church will be hosting its annual Women’s Conference, Rivers of Refreshing, Nov. 8-10. Guest speakers include Kate McVeigh and Cindy Black.

New Creation Church will be hosting Bruce and Cindy Black at the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. services Sunday, Nov. 11. The Blacks have recorded six albums, including, “Shout Now” and “High Places,” and will share both ministry and music.

Sonlight Foursquare Church’s annual fall festival will be held from 4:30-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at 0355 Mitchel Creek Road in Glenwood Springs. The event will include a kid’s carnival, prize for best (non-scary) costume, games, stories and movie. Chili cook-off dinner starts at 6 p.m. and family hay ride is offered at 8 p.m. All are welcome.
