Midland Fitness ‘2016 Thin It to Win It’ contest winners

At Midland Fitness’ “2016 Thin It to Win It” contest, 78 contestants lost a combined 1,820 pounds in six weeks for an average of 23 pounds per contestant.

Joe Luetke, Dave Fiscus and Jess Westley won the overall team competition and the $4,000 prize, having lost 181 pounds, or 21.3 percent of the team members’ beginning combined weight.

The second place team, Shannon Stowe, Pat Stowe and Walt Stowe, lost 153 pounds, or 20.8 percent of their beginning weight.

The third place team, Tom Cain, Trent Dickerhoof and Mikaela Guettler, lost 106 pounds, or 15.3 percent of their beginning weight. The fourth place team, Duane Neuman and his sons Josh and Jason, lost 126 pounds, or 15.2 percent of their beginning weight.

Best female was Shannon Stowe, who lost 35 pounds, or 18.3 percent of her beginning body weight. Best male was Joe Luetke, who lost 81 pounds, or 23.8 percent of his beginning weight.

Other competitors and their weight loss are: Mikaela Guettler (30 pounds); Doug Meyers (42 pounds); Josh Neuman (56 pounds); Dr. Jim Setterberg (48 pounds); Tianna Fiou (29 pounds); Dave Fiscus (53 pounds); and Heather Kloehn (30 pounds).
