More improvements under way on Seventh Street

Construction began this week on several improvements along Seventh Street both east and west of Cooper Avenue.

Benches and railings are being added to enhance the safety of these areas, according to the Downtown Development Authority, which is coordinating the work.

There will be no street closures, and the work is expected to be completed in less than 30 days, DDA Director Leslie Bethel said.

QHI Construction is performing the work on behalf of the DDA. For more information, call (970) 384-6446.
