More than 200 minks turned loose at Moffat County farm
CRAIG — The Moffat County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after more than 200 minks were released from their cages by unknown intruders at a local farm.
The minks abandoned their cages on Thursday, but some were shot by neighbors, and most were captured and brought back to their pens.
According to the Craig Daily Press, 50 minks still were still missing and the farmers recovered about 150 mink that can be sold for pelts.
