No one injured in I-70 crash

No one was seriously injured on Monday when a van on eastbound Interstate 70 crossed multiple lanes of traffic and slammed into a light pole in West Glenwood.

According to Glenwood Springs Fire Battalion Chief David Reinhold, the van appears to have crossed the median and two oncoming lanes of traffic, plowed through a fence and crossed the frontage road and sidewalk before coming to rest outside of a car dealership.

Reinhold declined to speculate on the cause of the crash, but said he was thankful that no one was hurt.
