Basalt High School hosted their annual Longhorn Stampede Saturday morning which was open to the community. The approximately two mile run took adventure seekers through mud pits and frigid water, over hay bales, up a steep incline and ended with a giant water slide. All proceeds from the race went to the Basalt Student Leadership Council.
